Digital Skills – funding changes 1st August 2021


The removal of funding for Digital Qualifications for Post 16 is upon us. From the 1st of August funding will be removed for all ICT and digital qualifications at entry and level 1 from all Awarding Organisations. This information can be found on the UK Government website.

Covid-19 uplift funding


TLM Quals. now on Government ‘COVID-19 skills recovery response’ funding list for 18-19 year olds. The TLM qualifications specially selected for this funding have been chosen to help young people with their employability in specific areas at Level 2 and Level 3 in response to the Covid-19 situation, giving ‘an uplift’ of £400 per learner’. Centres can use this funding for an additional programme of study for up to 1 year from September 2020 if learners cannot find employment or work based training. TLM Qualifications included on this list are; Level 2 Digital Professional Expert, Level 2 and Level 3 Building Information & Modelling, more TLM Qualifications may be added to this new funding list very soon.
